Background
I was born in Ronake Va. Moved to North Carolina when I was a small child 1/1/46. Grew up on the farm and have raised animals of one sort or the other, all my life. My first birds to breed were Chickens of show types, today. We had Parakeets most all my life as a youngster, and after I married. Got interested in English Budgies because they are so much larger and so docile by nature. I have bred for Gentleness and prolifics. My youngest son and I bred and exhibited together for several years. He won breeder of the year in 90'. Got more points than anyone before or since as far as I know. He had 2 champion birds in two years. We have that stock and will untill-----???. In other words as long as I am able. We only breed the blue mutations and there are around 50 different types. We have most you have ever seen. Price begins @ Males . We can ship in the breeder cage shown for additional + bird or birds (Have shipped 12 in one) + ahipping. Purple are . Too many to list here and we cannot keep current Pics of all. Have you ever been in a room full of 2-4yr old kids trying to get a pic of each one? Young are harder. They have too much energy!

I am involved in Jail & Prison Ministries. It is all volunteer. I have to raise money for it and to pay my bills. This is why you are looking at what we have to pay our expenses. We have been from Deleware to Florida and in between to some of the toughest Prisons on the east coast. I am the Volunteer Chaplain @ Guilford Corredtional Center N C State Prisons near Greensboro NC. Volunteer of the year in 2001.
Supplies have to be bought or donated to the Ministry here and at the local County Jail / City Jail where I preach each Sundays.
Interests
Helping people. If I weren't that type I would not be in the Jail and Prison ministries where it is all volunteer. I also love to help breeders with questions and really love helping people who are new at it. I have learned a mountain of info that I never dreamed I would know years ago. It is my passion along whith the ministry. I am an ordernary person and never dreamed of being in this ministry. I count what I do on the Phone to people getting started a ministry too. You may call up to 10pm Eastern time for help in breeding or Ministry.

I have bred from Macaws, African greys, Ringnecks, Conures, Rosellas, Borques, Love birds, Canaries & Finches of many sorts, Cockatiels ,Parrotlets & I am sure I missed something. I have cut back because of many different things. One odf which is I to go out of town with Prison Ministries for a few days. I love my wife and I want to keep her and the birds. Many people have a boat load of problems because of unknown visitors to the birds. It can cause them to not breed, scrap a nest, let eggs get cold and on and on.
