PHOTOS

Here's a collection of some of my birds. I have birds that are not listed here. Imagine being in a room full of 2-3yr old kids and trying to make a good photo of each one. Also, I will not or let anyone use a flash in my aviary or any other time on breeder birds.

Browse through the following prints.

Some young and a few older.

Adult Sky blue OPLENE mutation in whiteface and yellowface.

Adults in the Oplene type. Against the wall is a SKYViolet. One of around 5 shades of blue and violet they reproduce instead of Visual violets.

Pacific Parrotlets in normal but split to blue&albino both birds.

Cinimnon Sky blue normal with his young 5-6 week old in breeding cage before removing to juvinile flight. They are only 6 weeks old. NOTICE some young birds do not have bars but cere will show if adults in this case.

Baby sky spangled poor pic because he will not hold still a second.

This is a buffy Yellowface Sky blue male adult. The feather is hard to reproduce and is really a show fault but some Like it.

This is a baby Visual Violet. Reason for visual is that they will produce at least 5 different shades but not Violet in most cases. This one came from a Sky Violet male that looks Kobalt. It is the hardest color to reproduce in the budgie I have bred in over 20yrs. Mine reproduce well and lay more than the normla 5 eggs too. I have it in what I call purple that you saw and will see in other pics. I can reproduce it now.
This is a sky blue Oplene to show difference from a Normal. He is from 5.7 weeks old so some of the bars will not be there when he molts.
I am in North Carolina. They can go outside 7-365 if they want.
This is a Yellowface Albino and is a really rare bird because it is hard to reproduce YF in albino and any other color unless they are dominant and most are not. You have to find a bird that is dominant to YF and hope it will work when you breed to Albino. YF Violet is almost impossible. It took me 11yrs on the Albino. Much longer on Violet.
Baby birds in Juvinile flight. Right to left Yellowface blue lace, Purple from Visual violet.
5-6 week olds in juvinile cage. All are from Violet parent male or feamle.
THis is a poor pic of a young Blue Spangled. Young are harder to get a clear Pic because they will not be still. I have shipped 6pr of Breeder Budgies in a breeder cage as this one. Just add .

All the pics above represent a few of the types of Budgies I breed. There are over 50mutations of the bird. I have or have had most all. They are priced from for males and for pairs to or more each because of rarity or ability to reproduce their color or markings. Many are recessive and a few are dominant.
